Now with Prometheus, Total Recall, The Wolverine (2013 version), Man Of Steel, The Hobbit etc it seems that Hollywood is only interested in remakes, prequels or in wolverines case, a sequel to a prequel. Eventually films will be sequels of prequels of remakes.

But remaking Robocop? The film I adored as a child? Not too sure about that one. On the other hand with the sequels, TV shows, direct to DVD movie's, comics etc they've pretty much raped the franchise to death so a 21st century take on it might give it some life again.
